Welcome
The power to heal lies within YOU!
I believe your body is always communicating with you, and that within each of us is an extraordinary capacity to restore, adapt, and heal when we learn to understand what our body is asking for.
My work is about helping you reconnect with that inner wisdom.
I absolutely adore my clients, and I feel incredibly grateful every time someone trusts me enough to invite me into their healing journey. There is something deeply meaningful about sitting with another person, listening to their story, looking at the patterns within their body, and helping them begin to make sense of what they have been experiencing.
One of my favourite sayings is:
“When the student is ready, the teacher appears.”
I don't believe this is a one-way relationship.
When a client comes to me, there is a reason our paths have crossed. There is something they are ready to understand, explore, or change—and there is something I am there to help illuminate.
But I also learn from every person I work with.
Every body is different. Every story is different. Every healing journey reveals something new. My clients continually deepen my own understanding, and I am grateful for the trust, perspective, and wisdom they bring into our work together.
In that way, I don't see the teacher and student as separate roles. We meet in the middle.
I bring my training, experience, knowledge, and ability to recognize patterns. You bring your own lived experience, your body, your intuition, and your willingness to understand yourself in a new way.
Together, we create the space for learning, awareness, and change.
This is what makes my work so meaningful to me.
I don't simply want to give you information. I want to help you understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with your own strength, and remember that your body is not something you have to fight.
It is something you can learn to work with.
Welcome. I'm so glad you're here.
About Astrid
For most of my adult life, I knew something was wrong, but I didn't understand why my body couldn't seem to recover.
I was exhausted. My strength was disappearing. After years of surgeries, medications, antibiotics, and other interventions, I kept trying to find the thing that would finally make me feel well again. I tried conventional approaches. I tried unconventional approaches. I kept searching, kept doing, and kept hoping that eventually my body would catch up.
But it didn't.
There came a point when I was completely depleted—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I had reached my breaking point. I wasn't looking for another quick fix or another thing to try. I needed to understand what was actually happening inside my body.
Everything Changed When I Learned to See the Body Differently
I was introduced to the work of Morley Robbins and the Root Cause Protocol, and for the first time, I began to understand the body as an interconnected system rather than a collection of separate symptoms.
I began to understand the foundational role minerals play in the body, the relationships and hierarchy between them, and how profoundly mineral depletion can affect energy, resilience, and the body's ability to function and recover.
It gave me a framework for understanding what I had been experiencing for years.
And immediately, things began to change.
As I supported my body and restored what had been depleted, I began to experience something I had almost forgotten: strength.
Not just physical strength. I had more energy to think clearly. I had the capacity to make decisions. I had the energy to participate in my own life again.
And something else happened that I didn't expect.
As my physical vitality returned, I began to see patterns in my life that I hadn't had the energy or clarity to see before—patterns in my relationships, my choices, my boundaries, and the way I had learned to move through the world.
I realized that healing wasn't simply about fixing my body.
It was about becoming strong enough to hear it.
That realization became foundational to the work I do today.
This Is Why I Do This Work
I am a Certified Root Cause Protocol Practitioner, and my work is rooted in mineral-based analysis, education, systems thinking, and pattern recognition.
I am an attuned Jikiden Reiki practitioner, having received my attunement in 2012 through the traditional Japanese Reiki lineage. Jikiden Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive approach to hands-on energy work that uses light touch and focused presence to support relaxation, calm the nervous system, and create a space where the body can settle and restore.
I bring Reiki into my work as a complementary practice—not as a replacement for medical care, and not as something you have to believe in for it to be helpful. For me, it is simply another way of supporting the whole person and creating the conditions for greater calm, awareness, and connection within the body.
When you come to me, you are not simply coming to talk about symptoms.
You are coming because something isn't working the way it should—and you want to understand why.
That is where my work begins.
I look at the patterns within your mineral profile and the signals your body is giving you, and I help you connect the dots. We look beneath the surface to understand what your body may be communicating and what foundational support may help it move toward greater stability and resilience.
I believe deeply in the body's capacity to heal.
Your body is not broken. It is constantly adapting, compensating, and communicating in an effort to keep you going. Symptoms are often signals that something underneath needs attention.
My role is to help you understand those signals and give your body the support it needs to do what it is designed to do.
Heal. Adapt. Restore.
Understanding Creates Empowerment
I love working with my clients because I love watching understanding change people.
When you finally understand why you may be feeling the way you do, there is often a shift. Fear can become curiosity. Confusion can become clarity. And feeling powerless can become a sense of possibility.
I don't want you to become dependent on me.
I want you to become more knowledgeable about yourself.
I want you to understand your body well enough that the things you once found frightening or confusing begin to make sense. I want you to recognize patterns, understand the signals your body is giving you, and feel empowered to make informed choices about your own health.
Because we have been taught that the human body is incredibly complicated and that understanding it belongs to experts.
I believe there is another way.
The truth is often much simpler than we have been led to believe.
Sometimes the journey is less about learning something new and more about unlearning what we've been taught—and beginning to see the body for what it actually is: an intelligent, adaptive system constantly working toward balance.
I know this because I have lived it.
I know what it feels like to be depleted and disconnected from your own strength.
And I know what it feels like to begin getting that strength back.
That is why I do this work.
Not because I want to simply help you manage your symptoms, but because I want to help you understand why your body is communicating with you in the first place.
When you understand what your body is communicating, you can begin to work with it instead of against it.
And when you support the body at its foundation, real change becomes possible.
Your body is not your enemy.
It is communicating with you.
Let's learn how to listen.
